Your Role Will Include:
- Providing individualized instructional and behavioral support to students.
- Assisting teachers with curriculum modification and classroom activities.
- Facilitating social skills development and learning across various subjects.
- Monitoring and supporting positive student behavior.
- Implementing de-escalation strategies when needed.
- Maintaining accurate student records and reports.
- Providing appropriate physical care and assistance as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Reliable transportation and successful completion of background check.
- One of the following:
- 60 college credits.
- Associate degree or higher.
- ParaPro Certification or Paraeducator Certification or complete district-provided Paraeducator training and assessment prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Background as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Direct Support Professional (DSP).
Salary and Benefits:
- 7 hours per day, 183 paid days per year.
- Fall 2025 - Orientation/Training August 12th.
- Starting pay: $23/hour.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and retirement.

- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
